Mark Harris – VFX Supervisor

Mark Harris joined Milk in the Summer of 2023 and brings a wealth of experience as a VFX Supervisor.

Mark was most recently the Head of 2D at Misc Studios where he set up the comp team and supervised their work on fantasy shows such as Disney’s Willow, Netflix’s Winx Saga and The Letter for the King.

During his years at Misc, he also supervised numerous features including Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, Alex Garland’s Men and the Warner Bros live action Tom and Jerry. Harris most recently delivered shots for Anand Tucker’s indie feature The Critic which saw him supervise the recreation of 1930s theatreland.

Mark’s previous credits include multiple seasons of double Emmy award winning Black Mirror including the critically acclaimed and ground-breaking interactive episode Bandersnatch. He is also credited as VFX Supervisor on the Black Museum episode that

was nominated for a BAFTA Television Craft award.

Mark has also spent time working in Australia where he had the opportunity to work closely with Jennifer Kent on her debut feature The Babadook and Greg McClean on the sequel to the Australian cult horror feature Wolf Creek.

Like many in the industry Mark’s early career also saw him enjoy supervising on advertising and music projects including collaborations with commercials directors Erik Van Wyk and Greg Bath and promo director Henry Schofield.

As a first class graduate of fine art Mark still enjoys painting today. His work can be seen at his own film-inspired art site FILM.ART (filmdotart.com) and also as part of the film and tv- centric collective of creatives known as Mr Benn (mr-benn.com).
