London, 21 March 2023: Award-winning VFX Studio Milk is to continue its growth plans by opening a new studio in Dublin with ambitions to become a leading VFX Studio in the Irish market.
Overseeing its creative launch and sitting on the board of the Irish company, will be Milk VFX Supervisor and Dublin native, Ciaran Crowley. His recent Milk projects include BAFTA nominated Cursed (Netflix), Me Time (Netflix), Catherine Called Birdy (Amazon/Working Title) and Swagger (Apple TV).
Milk’s new Dublin based studio will operate with local talent and be able to leverage Milk’s leading edge creative technology and resources infrastructure. The Milk Ireland Studio will collaborate on key projects including Loud Minds’ ambitious new eight-part NBC series Surviving Earth as well as a number of existing and new exciting feature and episodic projects under the Milk network of businesses.
This announcement and the recent opening of Milk France is part of Milk’s strategic plans to build a European presence and access talent. It also follows on from the acquisition of Soho-based, award winning VFX Studio, Lola Post Production in October, as Milk continues to boost its capabilities and creativity across an exciting range of episodic and film projects, including Sony/TriStar’s highly acclaimed The Woman King, the much anticipated second series of Amazon’s Good Omens, and Warner Bros. Meg 2.
